Optimiza and Department of Lands and Survey Sign an Agreement
Optimiza and the Jordan Department of Lands and Survey (DLS) signed an agreement on the 5th of August, 2015 at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MoICT). The signing ceremony was under the patronage of thM minister of MoICT, H.E. Majd Shweikeh.
The agreement aims to transform the services of Department of Lands and Survey through technology. Optimiza will be helping DLS in designing an electronic transformation roadmap and strategy, developing the needed software solutions, integrating systems, databases and services; offering Business Process Reengineering, giving training, and managing projects and quality.

Minister of ICT, H.E. Majd Shweikeh, said: “Today, we proudly scored an achievement that will definitely reflect on the services our citizen get. We seek to provide the citizen with comprehensive, transparent and reliable services, and continue to do so for future generations.” She also said: “the electronic- transfer journey is not easy at all, but overcoming obstacles as a team will enable us to reap the desired results.” She stressed her confidence in the skills put in the project and the diligent team, concluding that she is determined to form a steering committee to oversee the implementation of the project and to overcome challenges.
Department of Lands and Survey Director General Moeen Al Sayegh said that the agreement will improve the communication between the government and the citizen and that it will improve and simplify government services towards better transparency, quality, less cost and faster services. According to him, the new improvements will decrease paper work and enhance the government’s interaction with businessmen, NGOs and the media. It will contribute to creating an attractive investment environment.
Commenting on the agreement, Optimiza CEO, Majed Sifri, said: “We are proud of this exemplary public- private partnership and are very ready to start with this very important project. The company will help DLS automate its services and this project will be another milestone in our long list of success stories with the government.” He also added: “over the last 30 years, we’ve been enabling governmental entities inside and outside Jordan to modernize their operations , to better serve their citizens, through our skillful resources and our network of partners and international vendors.” He said that the company will design the needed solutions and tailor-make consulting services for Department of Lands and Survey
Through the agreement, DLS clients will benefit from nine electronic services: ownership permits for non-Jordanians, ownership permits for legal personalities, permits to sell registered real estate to non-Jordanians, selling and transferring transactions, correcting names and shares, issuing deeds, doing field monitoring, and developing and improving the DLS’s website.
