The Presales Architect is responsible for providing pre-sales technical support to customers within the defined territory to drive pre-sales of products and services. This includes contributing to revenue and market share growth by leading customer engagement end-to-end with architectural design, proof of concepts, and solutions that leverage the company solutions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
Structure and produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the cost savings and business benefits to clients.
Proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assess customer’s needs, and recommend optimum solutions, ensuring appropriate support for the proposed architecture.
Create solution architecture and design configuration documentation with technical explanations.
Work with Product Managers to provide feedback on issues with current products and solutions and provide input around new products
Support the sales team to reach targets by conducting customer-facing technical pre-sales presentations and demos.
Create and deliver custom demonstrations and deliver Proof of Concepts (POC) or Pilot projects with the technical team
Perform technical development for bespoke solutions as part of the design and development framework
Interface with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirements, to ensure smooth transition from Sale to Delivery.
Provide training and product support on solutions to customers and internal stakeholders when needed
Achieve assigned training and certification recommended by vendors
Help the company adopt tech solutions across digital strategy, data insight, sales, transform the potential value of oracle cloud technologies into realized value of businesses, employees and customers. Focus on showing what’s possible with the latest oracle technologies.
Educational qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related field. (Preferred)
Experience needed
A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in pre-sales and solutions architecture.
Technical Qualifications and Competencies
Ability to demonstrate Oracle products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge
Have demonstrated effectiveness in consulting and client management
Deep understanding of customer and partner business and IT environment and have demonstrated skills creating architecture and deploying technology to solve business problems
Work experience should involve pre-sales support, technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and management. t
Must have a proven record of delivering business value
Must have proven technical sales skills
Have excellent ability to work independently under minimum supervision
Strong communication and presentation skills are a must
Should be able to conduct Product POCs (Proof of Concept) to customers
