Optimiza (Cisco’s local partner) helps the Jordanian Government to Expand ‘ Tele-Health ’ Network in the Kingdom

DEAD SEA, Jordan, May 31, 2015:The Jordan Royal Medical Services (RMS) and Cisco announced last Friday the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand the RMS Tele-health network that was created through the Jordan Healthcare Initiative (JHI), a strategic public private partnership between the Jordanian Government and Cisco. As the local partner for Cisco solutions, Optimiza provides pioneering ICT-enabled healthcare solutions and supports the implementation of quality care-at-a-distance.

A signing ceremony to mark the occasion was held at the MENA World Economic Forum (WEF) 2015, in the presence of H.E. Dr. Abdullah Ensour, Jordan Prime Minister, Mike Weston Vice President Middle East for Cisco, and Majed Sifri, CEO of Optimiza. The MoU was signed by H.E. Major General Dr. Muin Al-Habashneh (Acting General Director of Jordan Royal Medical Services) and Cisco’s Vice President for Business Development Mr. Steven Boutelle.
