OPTIMIZA has recently announced the design and development of a registration platform for those who are interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine at https://vaccine.jo/cvms/ , a step taken in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. The website was launched during the last week of December 2020 and encompasses the latest global technologies in web design and development.
The system aims at regulating and easily facilitating the process of the COVID-19 vaccine deployment in Jordan by priority, through the building and gathering of data, and analyzing it using a specific algorithm which is dependent on the requirements of the Ministry of Health. Based on that, appointments are then set up for those who have registered on the platform.
The comprehensive platform covers the entire scope of the process, which includes registration, receiving the vaccine, and a certificate after the immunization, as well as the possibility of following up on any side effects of the vaccine as a secondary stage. In addition, the platform developed by OPTIMIZA also displays data for officials in order to be able to monitor and strategize via a sophisticated of graphic analysis software.
His Excellency Mr. Ahmad Al-Hanandeh, Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, praised the OPTIMIZA team for the efforts put forth in developing this entire platform in under four weeks, emphasizing on the importance of using technology to facilitate processes and procedures for those wishing to receive the vaccine. In addition, the top-notch platform will determine a date and location for the immunization to take place, based on the options available to users; the user will then receive a message with information about the second vaccine.
OPTIMIZA Chief Executive Officer, Majed Sifri, also expressed deep gratitude to his entire team for their efforts in contributing to the national fight against COVID-19 in Jordan, highlighting that the system created by OPTIMIZA is a testament to the essential role technology can play in people’s lives. This is just one of several projects that OPTIMIZA has had the privilege to work on to support the Jordanian government in its fight against the pandemic including projects, such as Takaful for the National Aid Fund, and Mizan for the Ministry of Justice, among others.
